I am heading to St.Louis in June with a couple of friends for a couple of ball games. This will be our 7th Major League city visit. We are staying near Busch Stadium and want to eat and drink with the locals to get a feel for the town. We only will be in St. Louis for 2 days. What restaurants and bars do we need to make sure we hit?

Any restaurant on The Hill is a good choice but not within walking distance. You would need to drive or take a cab.
I would recommend J.Bucks, Mike Shannons Steak and Seafood, Al Hrabosky%26#39;s, and Broadway Oyster Bar for places to eat/drink within walking distance to the stadium.
Have a good time. Go Cards!

Ditto Broadway Oyster Bar, it%26#39;s great!
Broadway Oyster Bar is a fun place to visit, plus the food%26#39;s pretty good, albeit a bit overpriced IMO. A couple other bars close to the stadium: BB%26#39;s, which has great blues music most every night and the Old Rock House, which also features live music.
About a mile south of the stadium you have the Soulard area, which has dozens of bars and restaurants. My favorite stops are McGurk%26#39;s, Llewellyn%26#39;s (pronounce Lou-Ellens) and Molly%26#39;s. the first two are good for both food and drink. For folks in their 20%26#39;s, Big Daddy%26#39;s is a fun night out with dancing and a nice patio. It%26#39;s several blocks south so a car/taxi is a must. A couple other restaurants I like in Soulard are Norton%26#39;s, which has great food a big patio, and Tucker%26#39;s, which has good steaks at a fair price (also good sandwiches, salads, etc.) - all these places are pretty casual and some provide free shuttles to the game, so you can go there for a few drinks before, then return for nightlife.
You could check out Lumiere Place Casino, which has a few nice restaurants and bars. They also provide a shuttle to the game. The Burger Bar is an adventure, but be prepared to spend big $$ for burger, $15 or so is typical.
A third option near downtown is Lafayette Square, which has a great bar called Bailey%26#39;s Chocolate Bar, also a brewpub called Square One. A few good restaurants, too, all in a couple of blocks.
For hip and trendy clubs, including a fun bowling bar, visit Washington Avenue. Lots of clubs within a couple of blocks and it%26#39;s right downtown. Most have dancing and a steep cover.
On the Hill, I like playing Bocci ball at Milo%26#39;s, although I recommend eating somewhere else - Adriana%26#39;s or Gioia%26#39;s for lunch, Favazza%26#39;s or Modesto for dinner.
