We will be in Branson in late July for a family trip. The husbands have big plans for a golf outing, so I am trying to plan a fun kid-free day for us wives as well. I haven%26#39;t been to Branson since I was about 7, so I%26#39;ve got no idea what is there now! I saw that Stone Hill and Mt. Pleasant both have tasting rooms in town. Are there any other wineries? Non-wine related suggestions are welcome as well. :-) Thanks!

There%26#39;s this wine garden:

I haven%26#39;t been there, but I want to hit it up over Memorial Day weekend. I%26#39;ll let you know if we go there and how it is!
As for non-wine related suggestions, I would say the Landing and Tangier Outlet Mall for good shopping. There is a Bath Junkie at the Landing, I always make sure to stop and get some salt scrub. They%26#39;re always so nice and will help you choose which scents to mix. Last time I got a peppermint (good for headaches), lavender (good for relaxation), and warm vanilla sugar. It smelled wonderful.

The wine tasting won’t take long but it is fun. Of course all of the shopping malls can keep you busy. Plus don%26#39;t forget the Historical downtown. You can take in a show or 2. Myself, I would check out the Branson Landing Cruises for a boat ride on either the Lake Princess or Lake Queen. Both serve drinks. The Branson Landing has several places with lakeside or on lake views where you can stop in for your wine also. Another place to have a glass of wine is Chaetau on Lake Taneycomo right off Hwy 265. All offer places to eat with good food. If you hit the right time on the Landing, you’ll also have music.
Have fun.
