Girl Activities During The Day

I%26#39;m planning a bachlorette party in Kansas City on the 4th of July and need some help on things to do in the area during the day.

We will have a group of 10 girls staying downtown and want to do something organized during the day, but not too expensive...we will be spending enough on dinner and a night out in the P%26amp;L District that evening!

I know there is a Royals game, so that%26#39;s an option...Worlds of Fun has been suggested...what else?

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Going to a casino might be an option. KC has 3 or 4 in close proximinity to the downtown area. Spend some time window shopping on the Country Club Plaza.

Shopping at the Country Club Plaza and/or Crown Center, a visit to the Liberty Memorial, and the Kansas City Zoo are all fun and interesting. The Steamboat Arabia museum is open on the Fourth of July (according to the web site) as is Union Station.

if you want to shop- Zona Rosa, the plaza and the legends would be good

there really is not much shopping at crown center or power and light

Wine tasting!! Great ';cheap'; but extremely fun activity to do with the girls!! Stonehaus winery in Lees Summit is good! There is also Boulevard Brewery tour! If you want to do the Boulevard tour though you better get on the reservation list soon! It fills up really fast!!
