Advance reservations for Arch on a weekday

Do I need advance reservations for the Arch on a weekday (specifically April 21)? If so, can I call or must they be on line? If not, how long is the wait midday?

I wouldn’t worry about crowds except the possibility of a school group touring since it’s not yet summer vacation. If you’re concerned about that, you can contact them a few days before your visit to see if any large groups have made reservations.

Great. Thank you.

Just a bit of follow up --

I did indeed visit the Arch in St. Louis. There was a line mid-day but it was not long and moved quickly. By the time we bought tickets and got to the line, it was almost our turn. Advance purchase is possible through their website but doesn%26#39;t seem necessary (perhaps you%26#39;d need it on a summer weekend) - you%26#39;ll wait essentially the same amount of time at the elevator anyway. It%26#39;s a small space on top without much to do - so people don%26#39;t spend much time -- still it%26#39;s kind of an interesting experience if you like that sort of thing (my kids and I do).

I don%26#39;t think advanced reservations will be necessary for that date. We went this past Monday afternoon at approx. 130pm. There was absolutely no wait whatsoever. We walked right on.
