limited time in saint louis local advice please?

We are doing a tour of parts of route 66 in july.

Have already booked up for Chicago / santa monica at each end, and now trying to fill in the gaps!

We expect to arrive in saint louis early evening have a nice meal (recommendations? - I%26#39;m vegetarian), stay the night (recomm? - accessible by car, with parking), see one or two sights (arch, mississippi, budweiser tour??? recomm?), then fly out about 4pm.

I look forward to some expert advice from locals!

Thanks in advance!

You may not be getting any replies here because it%26#39;s hard to know where to start.

Coincidently, (and somewhat oddly) someone started a similar discussion on one of the local restaurant blogs here:

Can you fit in a Cards baseball game?

The Miss. river will take about 5 minutes to look at.

The Arch and Bud tour are doable in one day.

Stay at the Drury Inn or Hilton Ballpark both are downtown and nice. And right near the activities you listed.

Many thanks Cards fan....the hotels you suggested are all booked up already...what do you think of the Omni Majestic hotel on Pine street?

Also, is there parking at the Anheuser-Busch building where they do the distillery tour? (It%26#39;s not clear on their website)

Thanks so much

=)
