Love the Hermann area.....and have both links for there and Augusta. Hoping for a more personal view of some where someone else has stayed and know it%26#39;s nice, etc. without having to go through all the links if anyone has some thought on that. Wish I was there right now!!!

Just trying to help. Your request wasn%26#39;t very specific.....sorry to bother you with the links you already have.

The only place I have stayed at is Hermann Hill Inn. I loved it though! The accommodations are nice. I believe there is a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, two person shower, mini fridge (stocked with candy and soda and stuff for about $.50 - $1 each) and deck or patio in every room. There is also a library downstairs with books and dvds that you can use in your room (there is also a dvd player in every room). Next to the library is a coffee/cappucino machine that uses those little single serve packets. Breakfast is great and can be eaten in the kitchen, dining room, on the patio, or served to your room. They also bring by homemade cookies (more like mini cakes) with ice cream and their own port rasberry chocolate sauce every night.

They have also recently opened up cottages near Hermanhoff, but I have not yet stayed in one. Their website for the Inn and cottages is www.hermannhill.com.

I know you posted a while ago but I was wondering how your overall experience was when you visited.

Where did you end up staying? I have a friends who is going with his girlfriend later this month so I was doing alittle research for a number of resaons.
