Can anyone tell me if there are any restaurants/breakfast places within walking distance of the University Plaza Hotel?

You%26#39;re in luck; only a few blocks west of the hotel around the Square are many fine places to eat. Ask at the front desk for directions to Milles or Gilardi%26#39;s, my two choices for dinner. For breakfast you can%26#39;t beat Gailey%26#39;s; second choice would be the French Quarter Cafe. For lunch hit up the Springfield Brewing Co. There are also several fine dining choices downtown that are pricier and all within an easy walk. Oh, best coffee is the Coffee Ethic on the Square next to the library.

Amen to that. And its peacefully quiet, unless I%26#39;m there with my young daughters. I apologize in advance.

If you want pure coffee essence, try a machiato. Your hair will stand on end. The food selection is limited, but the muffins are baked by Nonna%26#39;s Italian restaurant, some of the best I%26#39;ve had.

the university plaza has a great breakfast buffet. and there is a good restaurant/bar that has simple but good bar food right down walnut street--ebbett%26#39;s field.

Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Just head west from the hotel toward the square.
