I am vacationing in Branson in mid July. I would like to stay at a hotel with an indoor waterpark. Which one should I choose? Grand Country, Castle Rock, or Welk Resort. I have stayed at Grand Country about 5 years ago. I have 2 children, ages 10 and 12. All have packages. If anyone has a different suggestion, I am open to all suggestions.

Welk%26#39;s has not have very positive reviews for their waterpark. Many say it%26#39;s just one large slide and then a pool. The slide closes at 5 but the pool does not. Have heard much about Castle Rock. FYI the city has a water park with pretty cheap admission..it%26#39;s called the Rec Plex or something like that.

The biggest complaint about all three indoor water parks as they become a little too lame for older kids. Your kids will have fun but they will probably want “more” if you plan on the water park keeping them busy for the trip. White Water is an outdoor water park but it will cost you some. If you want a cheaper swimming option the Rec Plex is very nice and very affordable. It is also strictly outdoors but has nice slides and water sprays. It should satisfy your kids swimming needs though I’m sure they would prefer White Water over any of the indoor parks or the Rec Plex.
Also if you book at Castle Rock, make sure your lodging is what you expect. They also use an old hotel they own for booking.
Many of the resorts have more than one pool. Most don%26#39;t have slides but they may meet your families swimming needs.
Good suggestions. I have heard that the Clarion Hotel at the Palace has a nice pool. I agree that maybe my kids are too old for the indoor water parks. I will keep my ears open.
