My husband and I are staying at the Renaissance St Louis Airport hotel this coming weekend~any suggestions for outlet shopping? Also is there anywhere to get knock offs?

Is there a specific type of outlat mall you are looking for? Or would you consider an outdoor market

as well?

St Louis shopping

If you are looking for an outlet mall, the closest to the airport would be St. Louis Mills. You would take I-70 west to I-270 North to I-370 West. It should be about 10-15 minutes from your hotel.

Actually, the Missouri Mercantile store noted above is at St.Louis Mills Mall.

Can you get some pretty good deals there at the Outlet Mall??

I got some pretty good deals at stores like Gap and Banana Republic at Christmas time, but that%26#39;s pretty much the only time I usually get out there. I don%26#39;t know about their ';everyday'; prices.

For good knock-offs the Frison Flea Market in Pagedale is a gold mine. It is actually in what I think was prviously a super market. It is not in the best part of town but if you go during the daytime and use common sense you will be fine.

Sappington Farmers Market is in a strip mall and is not an outdoor market. They do have a pretty good selection of items that you don%26#39;t normally find in a typical grocery store though. Soulard market, in the Soulard neighborhood near downtown, is an open air market.

Thanks Everyone for your suggestions...we was able to hit the St Louis Mills and did pretty well for my husband and also the Flea Market in Pagedale. I really got some good deals at the Dillards in The Galleria...nice place.
