Festiva resorts

We signed a contract with Festiva and then read all the messages on this website and as a result cancelled the agreement within 15 hours and sent the certified cancellation letter to the head office as specified. This arrived at their office within the 5 day cooling off period, yet still they took $23, 760 from our bank account. We have telephoned but have not been able to speak to anybody at their head office. Has anybody else had this experience? Do we really have to go through legal proceedings to get our money back?
