We%26#39;re going to be travelling with one or two other couples (all in our late fifties) to Branson in October. Planning now - we will be trading via RCI and were wondering about the palace view by spinnaker resort. How close to shows, etc.? Walking distance? Or will we need our own vehicle? We want to go to shows, but we also like to sight-see. Is there lots to see in the area? We like 50s music, country, and comedy, as far as shows. Should we buy tickets ahead, or wait until we arrive? We%26#39;re from Western Canada and are really looking forward to this trip. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

We are at the Palace View this week. You will need a car-you can%26#39;t walk to anything from here. We have a two bedroom lockout unit with two kingbeds(also two kitchens and two living rooms) so we have plenty of room to spread out. The units are nice and we love the screened balcony. We haven%26#39;t heard any noise from neighboring units.
We haven%26#39;t been to any shows yet, but will go to some later this week. We did go to Branson Landing last night. It is a nice place to eat(many restaurants) and shops. The water and fire show was great at 9pm.
We went to Table Rock State Park today and took a walk on the Lakeshore trail-it was great-paved the whole way. It is about 4.5 miles round trip. We took a picnic and stopped along the way to eat. You can see the lake the whole way.
