I am travelling to St. Louis and would like to find somewhere to have a nice easter dinner or brunch. Am travelling with an extremely picky eater, so some kind of buffet would be best.
Thanks!

Check to see what Cafe Eau is offering. Their brunch has been good in the past
I called Cafe Eau to make reservations for Easter. They told me they were totally sold out.
Now where to eat???
If you like Italian, try Maggiano%26#39;s. They have family-style options where you can get several choices of food and share it. It%26#39;s not quite a buffet, but a thought. What part of St. Louis are you travelling to? That will help.
Hey, I have the same question. I just checked and the Botannical Gardens is sold out and the Bevo Mill brunch only has 8am - 9am left. Any other suggestions for a nice place for Easter lunch? It doesn%26#39;t necessarily have to be a buffet for us. We%26#39;ll be visiting our daughter in the Kirkwood area for Easter and would like to take her out for a special lunch after church.
Thanks!
Just wanted to follow up - we had Easter lunch at Maggiano%26#39;s - great choice! So much food that we couldn%26#39;t eat it all and brought home two bags of leftovers, which was consumed quickly for supper. It was pricey - $30 a person, but a special holiday meal, with good food and tons of choices (appetizer, 2 entrees, 3 vegetables, 2 pastas, 2 desserts) - we all got something we wanted and more.
Our follow up
We ate at Oatman House Restaurant (it%26#39;s a Victorian Tea Room in a historic home).
Fabulous brunch selections off the menu. $38.00 total for 4 adults.
In Collinsville, Illinois, about 10 miles from downtown St. Louis.
Al Smith%26#39;s Feasting Fox is another option. They are accepting reservation%26#39;s starting today for tomorrow. $18 a head and a great atmosphere. Part of the Bevo Mill family and some great experiences with the German cuisine.
If you are in the county Bristol%26#39;s traditionally has a noteworthy spread. I knew the kitchen manager and they have a strong fusion menu.
Last year I went to the Original Crusoe%26#39;s in South City for brunch. There was a wide variety of food from french toast to fried chicken. The food and service was great and the price was right - around $13 or $14 per person if I remember correctly. We were able to get right in - without a reservation. Hope it helps and you have a great trip!
Anyone else think this is fishy...bringing up a year old thread to talk about a restaurant when the original question was from the year before THAT and it is the person%26#39;s first post?!?! Call me skeptical, but I smell something fishy
