The bite is on at Lake of the Ozarks for bass and crappie. I%26#39;ve enjoyed the past two weekends even though there was some rain here and there. Even a casual fisherman can have some fun catching crappie around the docks using minnows or jigs. The water in the main part of the lake is a little dingy due to some recent rain, but that should not be a deterrent if you would like to make a quick getaway to the lake for some fishing.
