Kansas City April 10-11

Hello all! We are an adult couple going to Kansas City area this weekend, April 10-11th. We are thinking about staying at an Embassy Suites.

Tentative plan is to go to the Harry Truman Presidential Museum and Library in Independence, MO. Maybe the Bass Pro Shop there. Cabela%26#39;s in KC if time permits.

Would enjoy any wildlife refuges or bald eagle viewing sites.

Are the farmer%26#39;s markets open yet or is it too early? There are several farmer%26#39;s markets, which farmer%26#39;s market would you recommend going to?

Any other events going on in KC or KC vicinity?

River City Market on Saturday mornings is a lot of fun. Also some of the nearby shops are interesting, including an old-fashioned hardware store.

Royals are playing this weekend. As for wildlife refuge. Burr Oaks in Blue Spring is a nature preserve.
