My husband and I are trying to plan an anniversary weekend at the end of May. We have a 1 year old daughter who will be with us. What are some things that we could do while in St. Louis. I have been to the Gateway Arch before and would love to go again. Would we be able to take our daughter up the tram in our lap? What are some other recommendations.
Thanks

The tram in the arch is a good question. I have no idea. I would assume it is ok but it is probably best to check with someone who works there.
I%26#39;d recommend the Zoo. Get there when they open and park for free on the street. Then go straight to the childrens zoo. The admission to the childrens zoo is waived the first hour they are open.
The Magic House is fun assuming she is walking.
Grants Farm is also a great place to visit.
The Botanical Garden is another option if you want something relaxing. She may not get anything ';fun'; out of it, but the plants and flowers are amazing.
I like the screen name. Remember, when visiting: DON%26#39;T PANIC.

Thanks for the tips. We will look into all of those options. Do you have any suggestions on where to stay? Somewhere nice, but not too pricy would be great.
I%26#39;m a fan of the Drury Inns. Nice rooms, clean hotel, pool, breakfast. Another poster on here knows a discount code. Hopefully they will read this and post it.
Visit Crown Candy on St. Louis Avenue - just north of downtown. Tips: You%26#39;ll want to get a shake or ice cream specialty. Don%26#39;t go after dark. Expect to wait for a seat. Their sandwiches are also great. You might also enjoy visiting Ted Drewes for ice cream. If you%26#39;re interested in these types of things, the History museum in Forest park is continually cycling through great displays on St. Louis history. The butterfly house in Faust Park is well worth a visit, in addition to Grants Farm and the Magic House, as previously mentioned.
Thanks for all the suggestions. They all sound fabulous and we will look into them We are looking at going Memorial Day weekend. Are there any suggestions on how early to book things (Hotel, Arch tickets, etc.) or on which day(s) to visit the suggestions attractions?
