Just had our visit from the Festiva rep, Steve Lamantia. He sure was full of information!
After he went through his sales speil he was totally blown out of the water when we declined his offer. It was so very well explained to us that he wondered how sane, intelligent people could not tear open their wallet and get the money.
He said........it would only cost us $3,400 for the two timeshare that we already own (paid in full) to be able to get into Festive.
He said........50% of RCI %26amp; II haven already converted their units to points and pretty soon that number will go to 70% and we will never be able to trade.
He said........it will be impossible to sell our units because nobody wants them.
He said..........that they are giving away timeshares for free on eBay.
We said..........please leave.
We are happy with what we have.

Crabby,
What Steve told you was so true. Points can exchange for weeks, but weeks can%26#39;t exchange for points. But then if your happy with going to the same place over and over again, that%26#39;s your choice. Most people by a time share to do just that, ';Share';. Oh, by the way, in some states if you don%26#39;t pay your association fee%26#39;s, even as they continue to to up, it%26#39;s a criminal offense.

We have a rep. coming to our house tomorrow, Friday, Nov.14,2008 to discuss what%26#39;s up with New England Vacation Services and Festiva taking over our home resort on Cape Cod.
I%26#39;m not looking forward to the meeting.

We received a call from A ';Rep'; who asked to meet at our home. We asked to meet in a public place, rather than have a stranger come to our home; especially since we received a cold call over the phone. The ';Rep'; refused to meet us anywhere besides our home.
Look up the address for the company on Google Maps. 212 E Hickory St Denton, TX. It is an abandoned building. Unsure what the true story is with this marketing company.
