Hotel at Country Club Plaza

My husband and I are probably coming to Kansas City to spend a long weekend over Easter. Can anyone recommend a hotel in the Country Club Plaza area? Also, does anyone have a good ';itinerary'; for things to do on the weekend. We don%26#39;t drink much; like to eat; like to watch sports like hockey, football, etc.; the zoo; etc.

Hotel at Country Club Plaza

I love the Plaza! We have been a few times, and actually was going to go Easter weekend, but things have changed.

We have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott on the Plaza, it is a wonderful hotel, but pricey! We also stayed at the Marriott Country Club Plaza, and they have a 99.00 rate on their website, that%26#39;s a great price. Residence Inn by Marriott has a package that%26#39;s 129.00 per night with a 50.00 gift card on the Plaza, but haven%26#39;t stayed at the Residence Inn before!

We don%26#39;t drink much either but love to watch sports, we go to the 810 Zone, its on the Plaza, Ive had lunch at Brio Tuscan Grille for lunch, it was fabulous. Have never went to the Hallmark Visitors Center but hear its nice!

Thanks for the response and ideas. It will help a lot. We are actually considering a move to Kansas City from southwest Minnesota, so want to experience all we can. It%26#39;s not a big move; but is definitely a bit warmer there than it is here year round!

The Rapheal hotel is nice quaint hotel on the plaza. as far as watching sports- KC is not a Hockey town- football yes the the season is over
