Can someone suggest a good downtown hotel?

Hi all! I%26#39;m wanting to surprise my husband with a quick trip to St. Louis to watch the Cardinals play July 31-August 3. Obviously I would like a hotel within walking distance to the ballpark. I personally like historic and/or boutique hotels and the icing on the cake would be a jacuzzi tub in the room. Any suggestions?

I%26#39;m no expert, but it seems as if these 3 might fit the bill (don%26#39;t know about the tub, though):

Hilton at 400 Olive

Renaissance Grand

The closest hotels to the ballpark are the Westin (Big $$$), the Hilton (Medium $$$) and the Sheraton (Medium $$) They are probably a block away. No problem to walk it at all. Not sure if any of them offer jacuzzi suites or not, but it%26#39;s worth a look. FYI, we stayed at the Renaissance Marriott which is across from the ED Jones Dome, but no where near the baseball staduim...

Sometimes the Westin runs specials for 100.00 a night..which is a steal. The hotel is beautiful. The Hilton runs something similiar. The Renaissance is great too, have stayed there many times. It%26#39;s far from the stadium, but you can jump on the metrolink at the Convention Center. It%26#39;d be worth the little extra money to stay closer.

Drury Plaza Inn at the Arch - a beautiful hotel with many free perks, hot buffet breakfast, indoor pool, free drinks, etc.
